2018 – Vardzia is a historic cave monastery in southern Georgia. In Georgia, where the Orthodox Church has been a strong voice against LGBTQ+ rights, many queer people still experience discrimination and feel compelled to hide their identities. This work fills one of Vardzia’s hidden caves with vibrant colour and light, transforming it into a symbol of visibility, acceptance, and quiet resistance.
