These two works were created during a period of political instability in my homeland. They are part of an ongoing project reflecting on these events.

Davarda: On the linear work, the Georgian word „დავარდა“ (davarda) appears, meaning fallen.
It reflects the difficult political situation in my home country, Georgia, and was created during a time when people close to me were participating in protests under serious threat.
The pieces are made from white chamotte clay and feature an experimental surface created with metal oxides and a mixture of five glazes.

Residue: This work explores forms inspired by animal bodies and organs.
The three objects recall states of decomposition, gradually permeated by fungi. This triptych is hand-shaped from a mixture of brown and beige chamotte clay.
The surfaces combine lava sand with mint and brown glazes.
